Tappaya Sit Or began muay thai at 6 years of age. He had his first fight 6 months later and fell in love with the sport. He trained along side his older brother Yokthai Sit Or and older nephew Ramba Somdet Sit Or at the Sit Or camp in Pattaya. At the top of his game Tappaya was a regular fighter on Channel 7 every Sunday afternoon. Tappaya was a Rajadamnern Champion for 3 straight years, Channel 7 Champion and WMC World Champion. He has faught numerious times in Japan and also in England. The photos below show a successful career. He retired from fighting 5 years ago and had a dream one day to open his own gym. That day came in 2010 when he opened his own gym Sor Klinmee. At present he has 15 thai students which includes two Champions, Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee and Fasai Sor Klinmee. He has alot of young students who are making big waves already in the Thai Boxing scene. More information and some video’s from his gym in Thailand .
On the 18th of September, Spartan Thai will be holding a sponsored sparring at the club at the Link Road Ballincollig.
Doors open at 11am to all members of the public. There will also be a raffle for a pair of tickets to a Man Utd game in November. With all proceeds going towards the worthy cause of Down Syndrome Ireland.

There should be having about 25 fights from clubs all around Ireland for up and coming novices and it will be finished in time for the world cup final.
On the 11th of July next there will be a daytime show in the Silver Springs Moran Hotel, Cork. It will feature a large number of Spartan Thai fighters. The full list of fights has not been finalized. Once it is it will be listed here.
The show will run from 1pm to 6pm approx. Tickets will be available from the club. It promises to be a great show with so many of Spartan Thai fighters taking part. See you there.
